Greens/Course Assessment Report, presented by Joe Dabrowski

Joe says Chris and his crew are doing general maintenance as they are still dealing with the heat. Because of the heat, Joe says that you will see the irrigation running on hot days; he says that yes, it is an inconvenience but it is necessary. Joe reports that a dead tree was taken down behind the second tee and that some select tree removal and fixing the broken clock (by putting green) are on the list of Winter Projects.

Membership/Course Assessment Report, presented by Jeff Nagel

Jeff states that the board is going to begin talking about dues & rates for next season. He says that once they decide, they will talk and recommend to the Village board.

Kevin states that the Purple Horse comment period has closed, with no progress yet; he does say that they are meeting with the mayor and village board to discuss. Nathan Rohermeir says that the Village wants to hear feedback as they didn’t receive a lot. Nathan states that Mayor Veitch would like to have an all-community meeting to discuss the plan and get feedback. Nathan finishes, stating that they want to get things rolling in September, with it getting done in phases. Nathan reminds everyone that this is a positive thing, as the village is giving back to the community.

Jimmy says that the Men’s Member/Guest and the Club Championship went great. He says that the golf course is in really good shape considering the horror stories that he is hearing across the island.
