COVID-19 Course Closure

Bellport Golf Club Members,

We want to thank everybody for your support and gratitude over the last month as we have been dealing with COVID-19. Unfortunately, Governor Cuomo has deemed golf courses to be Non-Essential. New York State, Suffolk County and Brookhaven Town officials have closed their golf courses for the foreseeable future. Under the State’s mandate, Bellport Golf Club will also have to shut down for the foreseeable future. We understand that closing will ensure that we do our part in keeping you, your neighbors and our communities safe.

Although we will be shut down, Superintendent Chris Johnson and his crew will be permitted to maintain the course. There is no doubt in our minds that once we are given permission to re-open, the golf course will be in great playing condition.

Please be aware that during this time there will be no temporary greens and the facilities will be completely shut down. This prohibits walking on the golf course, using the practice facilities and the locker rooms. We will continue to be transparent and notify you through email, texts, the website, etc. with any updates that we may have.

Stay safe and thank you for your understanding.
