Happy 4th of July!!!!!
Just a few quick updates……
1) There are some white posts with nice white roping being installed around the greens throughout the golf course. These will be replacing the split rail fences. Please do not remove these posts. They are to be treated as immovable obstructions. If these posts interfere with your stance or swing you may proceed under rule 24-2 immovable obstruction.
2) Starting on Monday July 6th we will start removing a small amount of dead trees near the 8th tee box and 7th green. We will also be removing a few trees that surround the 3rd green that are interfering with the surface of the putting green. The stumps will be removed in the fall.
3)If anyone begins to see some yellow spots on the tee boxes, Greg and Chris have begun to spray for a nut that has begun to creep onto the boxes. This will go on for the next few weeks.
4)Monday July 6th and 13th the course will be open for play the entire day.
5)Please be aware for upcoming events at the club…July 18th and 19th will be the Team Championships, July 23rd the Nine and Dine will take place and July 25th we will hold our Jr. Club Championship. Sign ups for these events will be available soon.
